From 2020–2026: A Fresh Look at The Brand Gypsy

From 2020–2026: A Fresh Look at The Brand Gypsy

If you’ve been here for a while, you might remember my last “Meet The Brand Gypsy” post back in 2023. And if you’re new — welcome 🤍 Either way, it felt like the right time to pause, reflect, and reintroduce myself.

Because a lot has changed.

Not just in the work I do, but in how I approach design, branding, and building meaningful digital spaces for businesses.

The Brand Gypsy: Then & Now

When I started The Brand Gypsy (back in 2020), I was completely new to the world of being an entrepreneur and running my own business. I had very few clients, hardly any portfolio or credibility online.

Between then and now, I’ve worked across a wide range of industries, clients, and projects. With each one, my process became clearer, my eye sharper, and my confidence stronger.

What began as a creative service born to survive during COVID has evolved into a flourishing business.

Growing as a WordPress Designer

WordPress has become my platform of choice — and for good reason.

Over the years, my skills as a WordPress website designer have grown significantly. I now focus on building websites that are not only beautiful, but functional, intuitive, and easy for clients to manage long after launch.

My approach today is:

  • Thoughtful structure and layout
  • Clean, responsive design
  • SEO-friendly foundations
  • User-focused navigation
  • Scalable solutions that grow with your business

Whether it’s a small business website, a service-based brand, or an eCommerce storee, I design with intention — making sure every site works for the brand, not against it.

Refining My Graphic Design Style

Alongside web design, my work as a graphic designer has also evolved.

My style has become more refined, more minimal, and more aligned with brands that value clarity and consistency. From logos and brand identities to digital assets and social content, I focus on creating visuals that feel cohesive and considered — not cluttered or trend-driven.

I believe good design should feel effortless, even when a lot of thought has gone into it.

More Strategy, Less Noise

One of the biggest shifts since 2020 is how much emphasis I now place on strategy.

Design isn’t just about how something looks — it’s about how it communicates, guides, and supports a brand’s goals. Every project now starts with understanding:

  • The business
  • The audience
  • The purpose behind the design

This allows me to create work that’s not only visually appealing, but meaningful and effective.

Looking Ahead

As we move forward, The Brand Gypsy continues to be a space for:

  • Intentional design
  • Thoughtful branding
  • WordPress websites that work
  • Creative solutions with purpose

This blog will also evolve — sharing insights, inspiration, behind-the-scenes moments, and practical advice for brands and creatives alike.

If you’ve been part of the journey so far, thank you.

And if you’re just joining — I’m so glad you’re here.

Here’s to growth, refinement, and building brands with intention 🌿

A little side note — I think it’s time to give my website some love and attention. Keep an eye out for the new design launching soon🤍
